gBots win LVP Gamergy

gBots came out on top of LVP's Gamergy LAN with a 2-0 thrashing of x6tence (16-1 on de_dust2, 16-3 on de_cache).

Held at IFEMA, a Convention and Congress Centre in Madrid, the second edition of Gamergy featured five different tournaments, with a combined prize purse in excess of €30,000.

The CS:GO tournament, featuring eight teams from across the country, kicked off with the group stage, followed by the single-elimination playoffs.

The big surprise of the group stage came in the form of x6tence finishing second of their group after a close 19-22 defeat against gBots.

The teams would meet each other in the grand final again as x6tence moved past Wizards 2-0, while gBots defeated 34united also with the same scoreline.

Unlike the first encounter between them, the grand final was a one-way street, with gBots running out 2-0 victors after a 16-1 demolition job on de_dust2 and a 16-3 thrashing on de_cache.
